Here’s Texas’ Top Outdoor Attraction…And You’ll Definitely Want To Do It

Texans enjoy spending summer days tubing down rivers like the Guadalupe, Comal, and San Marcos, with tube rentals available at places like Landa Falls and Lions Club.

It's starting to really heat up outside, and nothing sounds better than jumping into some cold water - in an inner tube, of course. Every Texan knows that our favorite summertime activity is dedicated an entire day to leisurely floating down the river. We bring coolers, music, friends, and plenty of sunscreen, and just have a blast with no cares in the world. Read about the different rivers you can float in Texas and the best tube rental places below.

There's nothing quite like spending a day on the river, whether you like fast, rushing rapids like the Guadalupe...

...or a slower, more leisurely float like the Comal or San Marcos.

It's our favorite way to kick our feet up, crack open a cold one, and beat the Texas heat in the company of our friends and family.

Some good places to rent from are Landa Falls for the Cormal, Lions Club for the San Marcos, and River Sports Tubes for the Guadalupe.

No matter which river you float, you're guaranteed to have a good time doing the one activity we Texans simply can't live without during the summer.

Have you been tubing yet this summer? What river is your favorite to float?
