Bussey’s Is A Charming, Out-Of-The-Way Flea Market In Texas

Bussey’s Flea Market in Schertz, Texas, offers a vast array of unique and vintage items, making it a must-visit shopping destination.

In my opinion, flea markets are so underrated. Unique, vintage finds at a fraction of the cost? Count me in. Located in Schertz, near San Antonio, Bussey’s Flea Market is one of the largest and best flea markets in Texas. It’s open year-round and offers home decor, handmade jewelry, and practically everything else imaginable. Whether you have a specific item in mind or just come to peruse the selection, nobody walks away from Bussey’s Flea Market in Texas empty-handed. So, if you’ve recently searched for a “flea market near me,” you’ll want to add this Texas treasure trove to your list.

Open since 1978, Bussey's has helped revolutionize the act of shopping. Rather than brave crowded malls only to shuffle through repetitive, overpriced items, flea markets offer a much more refreshing and productive experience.

Upwards of 500 vendors set up shop here, making it one of the largest flea markets in Texas. The same family has owned Bussey's since its inception, creating an almost palpable small-town charm that counteracts the overwhelming amount of options.

No matter what you're searching for, rest assured it can be found - plus a host of additional items you didn't intend to purchase. Treasures like these antique full-length mirrors with intricately carved frames are just impossible to pass up.

Although vintage items make up a large chunk of the merchandise, there are also many new things to choose from. These handmade signs make any house feel more like a home.

Tired of all the jewelry in stores costing a fortune? Bling doesn't have to be expensive, y'all! Bussey's has plenty of affordable pieces guaranteed to spice up your favorite outfits.

You'll even find gently-used cookware that looks brand new. Give your kitchen some color with these adorable cups, bowls, plates, and other essential dishes.

Old books abound, many of which haven't been printed in decades. Bring the kids along and give them an educational history lesson. Much cheaper and a better selection than the local libraries!

Bussey's is located at 18738 Interstate 35 N, Schertz, TX 78154 - just look out for the huge roadside armadillo. Market hours are Saturday and Sunday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., and parking is $2 per vehicle.
