You Can Drive Through The Terrifying Haunted Drive Halloween Experience In Texas This Year

Haunted Drive in Splendora offers a socially distanced, drive-thru haunted house experience with new sections and enhanced scares.

The spooky season might look a little different this year, but getting creative is all it takes to celebrate Halloween while socially distancing. Haunted Drive, located outside of Houston in Splendora, has always been a drive-thru attraction -- but this year, a brand new section of road means the thrills and chills last longer than ever. Are you ready for the ultimate night of fright?

Back for another terrifying year, Haunted Drive is still the Houston area's only drive-thru haunted house. The scares are bigger and better than ever this season, with a brand new section of road that makes for the longest, most frightening experience yet.

For a quarter-mile, you'll slowly creep down the dark, desolate road, your heart pounding at the uncertainty of what horrors lurk in the shadows.

Several themed areas utilize both actors and animatronics for maximum effect. From giant spiders to a deranged, chainsaw-wielding madman, everything that goes bump in the night is eagerly anticipating your arrival.

Recognize this guy? The main characters from your favorite classic horror flicks will be in attendance, their sole focus to wreak havoc on the unfortunate souls who find themselves passing through Haunted Drive.

A cacophony of lights and sounds promise to keep you in a perpetual state of nail-biting dread. Was that a scream? Who knows -- just keep driving.

No haunted house would be complete without a few creepy clowns thrown into the mix. Whatever you do, don't make eye contact...unless, of course, you want to be the subject of his next macabre act.

Haunted Drive will be open on Fridays and Saturdays from 7:30 p.m. until 11:30 p.m. beginning September 25. Two Sundays, October 25 and November 1, are also listed on the calendar. Tickets are $20 per vehicle ($30 if you have passengers in the truck bed).

Looking for a more intimate night of fright? You can rent out Haunted Drive on Monday-Thursday nights and ensure all eyes -- both human and otherwise -- are on you. The maximum number of vehicles allowed for a private event is 300.
