Bumper Cars On Ice Is Coming To Texas And It Looks Like Loads Of Fun

Bumper Cars on Ice is a fun, neon-lit winter event coming to Houston in March, featuring bumper cars on an ice rink and a festive bar.

Editor’s note: Bumper Cars On Ice was a fun event for all ages. Unfortunately, it's no longer taking place. However, you can still have loads of fun this winter by visiting these 9 Unforgettable Places In Texas.

Texas doesn't get as much snow as many other states, but something even better is coming our way this winter. Bumper Cars on Ice is an Australian event taking the world by storm, with a Houston stop on the agenda in March. Check it out:

Originating in Australia, Bumper Cars on Ice is taking a world tour this winter. Houston happens to be one of the stops, and it'll head our way in March.

The concept is fairly straightforward - a massive ice rink with specially designed bumper cars to glide around on top. Neon lights illuminate the entire room and elicit an upbeat, lively feel that keeps the fun going all evening long.

Adorable winter pals will add an element of quirkiness to the ice. Hand-in-hand (or hand-in-flipper, we should say), twirl around and make some everlasting memories.

In addition to the main attraction, there will be a bar complete with festive cocktails and mulled wine. Grab a drink after your ride and watch the action unfold from an outside perspective.

No juxtaposition is more ironic than adult beverages and a nostalgic childhood activity. Get in touch with your inner child, if only for a night.

Tickets are just $30 each and will go on sale nearer to the event. Admission grants you a 12-minute bumper car ride plus access to the bar.

The location has yet to be released, so keep checking the event's official website and Facebook page so as not to miss the announcement.
