Located 5 miles south of Custer, the surprisingly quiet Bismark Lake (not to be confused with THAT Bismarck) is a hidden gem that is arguably one of the most overlooked attractions in the Black Hills region!
Nestled away amidst the Black Hills' aspen and ponderosa, Bismark Lake features clean and clear water plus ample opportunities a la wildlife sightings, kayaking, hiking, and more.
Do you love to fish? Then you will love Bismark Lake, which is stocked full of rainbow and brown trout, smallmouth bass, northern pike, catfish, and sunfish.
