Highlights the best photography locations in Pennsylvania, showcasing diverse and picturesque spots.

Pennsylvania is certainly a gorgeous state with a great variety of terrain: mountains, hills, fields, cities, anything you could imagine. (Except maybe desert. We do not have deserts.) Pretty much anywhere you go in our state, you'll find something cool to photograph.. But I thought I'd compile some of the best photography locations, just for your convenience.

1. The Pagoda in Reading

If you want a unique photo opportunity, then Reading may be your destination. Originally built in the early 1900s as the centerpiece of a resort, today it stands as a small cafe and gift shop that overlooks the city.

2. The Rose Gardens in Allentown

If you're in Eastern PA and have a prom and/or wedding and/or First Holy Communion to attend... You're heading to the Rose Gardens for pictures. No questions asked.

3. Lockridge Park, Alburtis

The abandoned architecture at Lockridge provides an austere, dramatic backdrop for your photographs.

4. The Duquesne Incline in Pittsburgh

This is the best photography spot in the state of Pennsylvania. That's not my opinion... It's fact.

5. Jim Thorpe

It might not come as a surprise that the place colloquially known as the "Switzerland of Pennsylvania" is also exceedingly photogenic.

6. Fallingwater in Fayette

Fallingwater is one of the greatest modern architectural wonders in the world, designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. It is by far one of the coolest buildings in Pennsylvania and perfect for photography.

7. LOVE Park in Philadelphia

This is probably the most popular spot in the state for selfies. Love is all you need... Some take that more literally than others.

8. The Cathedral of Learning & Heinz Chapel in Pittsburgh

The striking gothic architecture of the Heinz Chapel and the Cathedral of Learning (which is the tallest academic building in the world--) will impress anyone you show your pictures to... Whether or not you actually know what you're doing with a camera.

9. Bake Oven Knob in the Lehigh Valley

Located near Hawk Mountain, Bake Oven Knob offers a flawless vista... Perfect to practice your hand at landscape photography.

10. Ricketts Glen in Fairmont

The numerous waterfalls at Ricketts Glen make ideal scenery for gorgeous nature photographs.
