This Two-Day Hippie Festival In Ohio Is An Absolute Blast

Editor's Note: Unfortunately, tickets are already sold out for the dates for the 2023 Hocking Hills Hippie Fest. Luckily, however, there is a hippie-themed restaurant in Vermilion, Ohio, Woodstock Cafe, that dishes out groovy vibes and incredible food.

Here in Ohio, there's a place where it's always groovy and the peace signs are plentiful. Hippie Fest is a two-day event that takes place in the scenic Hocking Hills—and, as you can probably guess, it's an absolute blast. Bohemian shopping and live entertainment are just a few of the fun things you can enjoy here. You don't want to miss out on one of the best Hocking Hills festivals of the summer (and the entire rest of the year, if we're being honest).

Hippie Fest in Hocking Hills, Ohio is a two-day grassroots festival that graces the grounds of Ohio's scenic Hocking Hills once a year.

Free spirits near and far gather to celebrate peace and love, dressed in their best tie-dye.

The event takes place rain or shine, and tickets are non-refundable.

With more than 100 artisan vendor booths, a vintage hippie car show, DIY tie-dye, a giant bubble garden, cirque performers, kids activities, food trucks and more, you're sure to have a groovy time.

Bring your vintage Volkswagen or hippie bus and show it off! There are several fun prize categories, and the winners receive trophies.

There is live entertainment each day. Spread out a colorful blanket or bring your favorite lawn chair.

The lineup varies from year to year, but the tunes are always totally rad.

Ticket prices vary based on whether you plan to attend just one day or the whole weekend. Kids 10 and under are free.

Please note: Tickets must be purchased in advance online. For those who plan on drinking alcohol at the festival, an age identification wristband is required (available at the gate upon presentation of valid ID for an additional fee).
