The Most Magical Holiday Tradition Takes Place Right Here In Cleveland Every Year

As we finally enter the holiday season, Cleveland becomes unbelievably magical. With wreaths and ornaments adorning our buildings and falling snow glowing a faint neon against store signs, the cityscape is constantly picture perfect. There is nothing dreamier than that glow around the holiday season, and one charming place in Cleveland glows brighter than anywhere else. Get ready for a brilliant experience you'll never forget, because this holiday spectacular will leave you dazzled!

Every holiday season, an unusual building at 11030 East Boulevard in Cleveland glows in brilliant hues.

These stunning lights are a part of the Cleveland Botanical Garden's Glow, a spectacular and aptly-named wintertime event.

Glow is one of Cleveland's most cherished holiday traditions, and every local must experience it at least once.

Get ready to be transported to a magical world where the seasonal cheer is contagious.

During Glow, beauty is everywhere, as evidenced by these festive trees designed by Affiliate Garden Clubs.

Along the way, you will experience a two-story tree, a lively town square filled with musicians, and a dreamy Wishing Tree.

Oh, and did I mention a charming journey through the outdoor gardens on the Garden Express?

You'll also delight at the stunning gingerbread house displays, and you may even design your own gingerbread house, too!

Admission to Glow includes full access to the Botanical Garden, including the Eleanor Armstrong Smith Glasshouse and the stunningly decorated outdoor gardens.

This season, the greenhouse interior may look slightly different than you remember.

Next to the spectacular holiday decor, you will notice that something is different. Unfortunately, the impressive Bismarck palm tree in the Madagascar biome recently reached the ceiling and had to be removed. The tree will be replaced with something new next spring.

Can't wait for this event? You don't have to! Glow is open now through December 31st!

On December 17th from 10 a.m. to noon, the Glow Special Day For Special Needs event will take place.

The event provides special sensory and adaptive activities to keep both you and the kids engaged.

During your visit, remember to conquer some of your holiday shopping at the Garden Store.

You will not believe how over-the-top and whimsical this event truly is.

And, since the Glasshouse is warm all year long, you will enjoy a tropical escape from the winter chill.

That is, until the dazzling lights of the outdoor gardens draw you back into the cold.

If you're looking for a new holiday tradition, you've found it.

Just swing by the Cleveland Botanical Garden this holiday season!

With so much to see, it is no wonder that locals eagerly await the yearly return of Glow. What do you most look forward to seeing at the event?
