Mills River Creamery is located approximately 25 miles south of Asheville, not far off Interstate 26.

You'll know you've arrived when you pull up and see the Jersey cow up on top of the creamery. Once inside, you'll feel like a kid in a candy store again — the decor is straight out of the 1950s.

Over in the ice cream counter a whopping 22 flavors await. Each is hand made right here at the creamery using fresh, local ingredients.

Pile a cone high with your faves, ask for a bowl stuffed full of your choices, order up a heaping banana split, or indulge in a milkshake or float.
