There’s No Other Restaurant In North Carolina Like Heritage Diner, Located Inside A Vintage Motorcycle Museum

Discover the American Classic Motorcycle Museum in Asheboro, featuring one of the largest private collections of Harley Davidson motorcycles, a diner, and an art gallery.

Few people realize one of the largest private collections of Harley Davidson motorcycles is found in the Tar Heel State. But you'll get to see it, among other things, at a destination that includes a restaurant (appropriately named, Heritage Diner, of course), a museum for the vintage cycles and memorabilia, a spot for motorcycle parts and service, and an art gallery.

All this, and more, is found inside the massive, two-story American Classic Motorcycle Museum in Asheboro.

You'll dine among many of the classics in American cycling when visit the Heritage Diner, an eatery that opens right up to the rest of the museum's first floor exhibits.

The motorcycle-themed eatery is open Monday through Saturday for breakfast and lunch and offers classic American fare.

Start the day with a list of hearty breakfast items. From omelets to pancakes, the options offer something for everyone.

Ease into lunch with a sandwich on old-fashioned white bread (toasted, of course) and a side of fries or onion rings.

Or, opt for a burger with your choice of toppings and a side of wavy chips.

Whatever you choose, be sure to save room for some dessert!

As if dining in the midst of one of the biggest and greatest private Harley collections in the country weren't enough...

Once you finish your meal, head upstairs to see all of the riding memorabilia. Whether you're a Harley enthusiast or not, this vintage collection is sure to impress.

With so much to see and eat at the American Classic Motorcycle Museum, you could easily make a day trip to visit here and have plenty of things to do.

But it's found in the same town as the world's largest zoo, so why not combine the two for a road trip of epic proportions?

It's open six days a week, Monday through Saturday, from 5 a.m. to 2 p.m. Learn more about Heritage Diner on its Facebook page. Find out more about the museum here.
