11 Pieces Of Graffiti In North Carolina So Brilliant They Should Be In A Museum

While some people think graffiti is vandalization, others think of it as sheer, ballsy artwork. There is something powerful about seeing graffiti on the side of an abandoned building that speaks some kind of message. Luckily, North Carolina is full of artists and they've spray painted their talent all over the Tar Heel state for us to see.

1. Sweet tea?

2. Serious thinking

This piece of art is found in West Asheville.

3. Charlotte

NoDa is the arts district of Charlotte. I'm sure several Charlotteans will recognize this graffiti and this building.

4. In the underpass

Asheville really takes the cake for creative minds who paint the city with their visions.

5. Cameron Barnstormers

Cameron native David Ellis invited his NYC art friends to spray paint this decaying tobacco town, and it's building. The Cameron 'Barnstormers' received their nickname by locals. Today, it's a popular roadside destination.
