There are lots of ways to get spooky here in New York during the month of October, but recently we've discovered a chilling adventure that combines the best of both worlds. Taking you on an outdoor adventure all while scaring you to your core, Upstate New York's very own Mountain Ridge Adventures is now offering zombie ziplining! An outing that's not designed for the faint of heart, see if you have what it takes to make it through this terrifying trip.
Waiting for you on the top of a 1,000-foot-tall mountain, Schenectady's Mountain Ridge Adventure transforms into a terrifying landscape during the month of October.
Featured every Friday and Saturday during the month of October, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. these Zombie Zipline Adventures are available for booking... but only if you're brave enough to take this on.
Mountain Ridge Adventure warns visitors that this isn't your average spooky event, you can rest assured that you'll be absolutely scared through every inch of your bones while you're here.
Starting off with a walk through the forest that's filled with serial killers, you'll be immersed in total darkness as you make your way to the ziplines.
Once you reach the zipline course, you'll have to brave your way through 10 ziplines where you won't be able to see where you are and may even be caught by a zombie when you're 70-feet in the air!
If going ziplining already instilled fear in you with being high above the ground as you soar through the air, try doing it during the middle of the night when you can't see anything and have to worry about zombies coming after you!
Mountain Ridge Adventure is located at 300 Weatherwax Road, Schenectady, NY 12302 and Zombie Zipline Adventures are offered each Friday and Saturday during the month of October.
