The Free Summer Drive-In Movie Series In Buffalo That You Won’t Want To Miss

Out along the city of Buffalo's waterfront, you'll find all sorts of exciting attractions and events happening throughout the year that you won't want to miss. Now that the summer season is finally upon us, we're excited to share that there's a free drive-in movie series coming to the Queen City! If you're ready to make the most out of this summer, keep reading to see what's coming up at the Buffalo Outer Harbor.

The Buffalo Waterfront has long been a favorite hangout for Buffalonians, but it's about to get even cooler, as it has just been announced that it will host a free summer drive-in series!

Taking place at 325 North Fuhrmann Drive along Buffalo's Outer Harbor, you'll find this little slice of the waterfront transformed into our very own drive-in movie theater.

Movie showings will begin at both 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. on July 11 and August 15, when the next two events are scheduled.

Tickets must be purchased ahead of the event and are available online.

The movie options on July 11 are Lion King (at 4 p.m.) or Grease (at 8 p.m.). On August 15, you can choose between Onward (at 4 p.m.) or Jurassic Park (at 8 p.m.)

Those lucky enough to snag tickets to these free summer events will be able to bring their own food and drinks in, but there will also be food trucks with food items available for purchase.

Guests will be allowed to hang out outside of the car as long as you maintain at least 6 feet of space between yourself and other guests and vehicles surrounding you.
