You Won’t Want To Miss These Incredible Fireworks Shows In New York This Year

With the month of July knocking at our doorstep, you might find yourself asking the question "Where can I find fireworks near me?". Well, have no fear! Last year we put together a list of fireworks displays in 2106 that you could find in your area and we're back at it again this year. Only In New York has put together an organized list of displays that you can watch all around the state - organized by counties below. So, who's ready to make some spectacular plans for 4th of July festivities?

1. Niagara Falls State Park Fireworks Display - Niagara Falls

With a fireworks display every night of the week from June 26th to July 2nd at 10PM, the famous American state park puts on quite a show. Weather permitting, the week long display of fireworks will quickly get you into the holiday spirit. While there are certainly many grand fireworks displays in New York, you won't find many that take place right over a natural wonder like these waterfalls.

2. New York State's 4th of July Celebrations at the Empire State Plaza - Albany

A great way to end your 4th of July evening if you're in the Capital Region, a magnificent fireworks display can be seen over the Empire State Plaza in Albany. Beginning the show at 9:15PM, this even draws in quite a crowd and is best to arrive to and find parking as early as possible. The celebration has a rain date of July 5th, featuring a variety of vendors, activities and live entertainment around the city.

3. July 4th Celebration at Canalside - Buffalo

Right along the water at one of our favorite places to hang out during the summer, Buffalo's Canalside hosts a fantastic 4th of July Celebration. Encouraging locals to come wearing red, white or blue, the celebration features activities, food and live music to keep you busy before the fireworks displays kicks off at dusk.

4. Macy's 4th of July Fireworks - New York City

A grand spectacle of the Big Apple, people all across the New York City area can see the stunning Macy's 4th of July Fireworks! With popular viewing points in Midtown, Long Island City, the East Village and Greenpoint and Williamsburg, the magnificent display has become the most popular in the big city. Going off over the East River at 9:25PM on July 4th, the fireworks light up the water and make for beautiful photos with the city skylines serving as a backdrop.

5. 4th of July Fireworks - Lake George

A great town to visit during the summer, starting on July 13th Lake George puts on a fireworks display over the water every Thursday until the end of August! But if you're anxious to see the town's amazing fireworks show, then make the trip up to the Adirondacks for the 4th of July fireworks. Beginning at 9:30PM, anywhere along the water in the village is the perfect place to view the display.
