One Of The Most Unique Theme Parks In America Is Right Here In New Jersey

New Jersey may be a small state, but we pack a ton of fun into our 8,722 square miles. From gorgeous hiking trails to beautiful beaches, big cities to charming small towns, we really have it all. That includes one of the most unique theme parks in America.

What might first appear to be a construction site, Diggerland USA is the only construction-themed amusement park in North America.

The park features over two dozen attractions, many of which utilize actual machinery.

Equipment has been modified so that guests as small as 36" can safely drive full size backhoes and dig giant holes with real excavators.

Attractions include extreme bowling with a mini-excavator, a merry-go-round unlike any other you've seen, the Spin Dizzy, Sky Shuttle and one of the tallest ropes courses in the world.

Guests will also find a rock wall, arcade, children's play zone, the world's fastest backhoe, a stunt show and... goats.

Diggerfest is going on now, every weekend until October 29th. Included with admission are hayrides, a corn maze and free pumpkin picking for children. On Fridays from 10/14-10/28, there will also be special evening hours with bonfires and Halloween movies.
