As soon as the weather gets nice in New Jersey, we're running outside to enjoy the sunshine and fresh air. Luckily, there are a plethora of outdoor activities to enjoy in the state -- and there is a new one we're just dying to try out this summer. It's railbiking, a way to experience New Jersey's railroad tracks like never before.
Revolution Rail is an amazing adventure that lets you explore New Jersey like you've never seen it before.
You pedal along with a partner on a stretch of railway in the forest that has never been used before.
It's a great way to experience the beauty of nature while remaining active!
Revolution Rail has opened a new track in Cape May.
It's a 4 mile out-and-back trip alongside the Garrett Family Preserve. Expect to see lots of pretty flowers and interesting wildlife.
If Cape May is too far of a journey for you, there are other trip options in New York.
But honestly, we think the Cape May option is the superior one. (Fine, we're biased toward New Jersey!)
Don't worry about skill level when it comes to the rail bikes. It's a fairly easy ride and people of all ages are encouraged to try it out.
Infants and small children can sit in your lap!
Rest assured, you'll have an incredibly fun day in gorgeous scenery when you try out Revolution Rail.
You have the option to do a tandem bike or a quad bike, so grab your friends! Just keep in mind, though, Revolution Rail is a ticketed activity -- and it fills up fast. We encourage you to reserve your spots early!
