The Halloween Train Ride At Delaware River Railroad Excursions Is Filled With Fun For The Whole Family

The New York Susquehanna & Western Technical & Historical Society operates Delaware River Railroad Excursions. They offer a variety of rides, all year long. In autumn months, families will fall in love with the Great Pumpkin Train.

Upcoming dates include October 17, 18, 24, 25, 31, and November 1. Note that this photo was taken last year or earlier.

Enjoy historic lime kilns, a festive pumpkin patch (every child may choose their own), and more.

All passengers are welcome to relax in one of their picturesque picnic groves. One offers fantastic views of the Delaware River!

You can also add a corn maze excursion!

The maze comes complete with interactive games with the opportunity to win small prizes.

Corn maze games include The Number Game and The Monster Mystery Game.

Find hidden podiums and discover which monster took Boots the dog. If you can solve the mystery and complete your punch card, you'll find out where he's hidden.

There's also the opportunity to add a mine experience. Pan for gemstones at the Ol' Susquehanna Mine.

Things are a little different right now, so here are a few things you need to know.

According to their website, masks are required for all guests over the age of two (2) years old. Hand sanitizing stations are located throughout the property and at each boarding point.

Each patron must sanitize their hands before boarding. Tables at the picnic groves will be spaced over six feet apart, train car capacity will be reduced, and it's recommended that you purchase your tickets in advance online. No cash payments will be accepted.
