The Library Restaurant is a steakhouse located in a mansion first built in 1785. It later turned into a hotel which housed a number of presidents including George Washington and Teddy Roosevelt (who signed the Russo-Japanese Treaty on the premises in 1905).

Now part of the building is a restaurant that preserves the old-fashioned grandeur of the building by situating the tables within the most gorgeous antique library you could imagine.

It's incredibly cozy, and impeccably detailed - the gorgeous woodworking, antique Italian marble, French silver-backed mirrors, and more all date back to the hotel's days of grandeur.

There are plenty of cozy spots for a date night, or plan a function in their gorgeous private dining room.

The food is just as amazing as the building. The steaks are perfection, and there are plenty of options for non-carnivores as well.
