It's also home to Zeb's General Store, which has been a town favorite since opening in 1991.

This quirky New Hampshire general store gets its name from an equally as quirky local New England folk hero named Zebulon Northrop Tilton. Tilton was a schooner captain who had three wives. Stories of his colorful life have been told and re-told.

The store, which opened long after Tilton was alive, originally took up just 200 square feet of space and was run by two employees. Today things are much different! Shopping in New Hampshire was forever changed when this place expanded.

The store's popularity has been driven by the wide variety of items they sell. You need it? They got it! The original goal of the store was to be the go-to spot for all things New England and they've certainly attained it. It's one of the most fun New Hampshire stores to visit.

The store takes up an entire block on Main Street and is packed with everything from a life-sized stuffed moose to local candy.

We love trying their homemade treats. And we frequently bring quite a few home to share with friends.

Additionally, there's an entire section of the store devoted to old-school Coke products.
