The Boozy Slushies From The Hawthorn Bottle Shop In Montana Are Very Refreshing

The Hawthorn Bottle Shop & Tasting Room in Helena offers a variety of boozy slushies and an extensive selection of wines and local craft beers.

A few summers ago, the frozen pink wine slushie known as frosé debuted in lounges and at wine bars all over the country. Not only was this drink an instant hit, it also inspired people to create other delicious boozy slushies as well. And while boozy slushies aren't always easy to come by in Montana, they're a regular menu item at The Hawthorn Bottle Shop & Tasting Room in Great Falls. And if you live in the area, we highly recommend enjoying one (or two) on the patio this summer.

The Hawthorn Bottle Shop & Tasting Room is located at 46 N Last Chance Gulch in downtown Helena.

To say Helena was long overdue for something like this is an understatement. Needless to say, it was an instant hit.

Step inside and you'll see an enviable bottle shop with wine from all over the world.

The wine comes in different price points, so you won't have to worry about breaking the bank. There are plenty of $10 bottles. The Hawthorn also has a great selection of local craft beer.

Stick around and enjoy something tasty in the tasting room -- you deserve it!

You can sip wine by the glass, try a wine flight, or even get a wine or beer-based cocktail.

Make sure to order some speciality meats and cheeses while you're here -- wine tasting is serious business.

The snacks always disappear quickly.

Speaking of disappearing quickly ... if you do order a boozy slushie, watch out.

These beauties go down fast. Even if you manage to avoid brain freeze, you might be a bit tipsy before the rest of your group.

The wine slushies are the most popular choice, but The Hawthorn always tries to have other options on the menu as well.

From Prickly Pear Slushies (pictured here) to traditional frosé, you'll have your pick of frozen beverages here.

The Hawthorn Bottle Shop & Tasting Room is open Tuesday - Friday from noon until 9 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 2 p.m. - 9 p.m.

We assume they take Mondays off in order to brainstorm new slushie ideas.

Have you ever tried the boozy slushies at The Hawthorn?
