Boulder Hot Springs, Boulder, Montana, is one of the most visited hot springs in Montana. The resort and spa originally opened in 1863 and later underwent thorough renovations in 1910. It was further modernized and renovated to its current state and re-opened in 1991.
The Boulder Hot Springs hotel offers plenty of space for gatherings of groups both large and small. They've specialized in weddings, anniversaries, and reunions. There are varying price ranges and options for catered food for all gatherings.
The real star of the resort is the outdoor pool. It's a graduated depth pool with both deep and shallow ends. The surrounding deck has chairs and tables, and a convenient heated sidewalk connects the pool to the bathhouse.
No matter the season, the pool remains a consistent 96°-100° F. thanks to the geothermal mineral water from the on-site hot springs. Water from these same springs is used in the steam rooms and showers, as well.
While relaxing in the heated pool, guests can take in the gorgeous views of the surrounding forest and mountains. The resort is adjacent to Deerlodge National Forest which is home to wild animals such as foxes, elk, and bears.
