A vibrant destination year-round, Union Station in Kansas City adds magic to each winter with its Holiday Reflections, an enchanting walk-thru village that covers 27,000 square feet.

Typically running from mid-November through the first of the year, this one-of-a-kind holiday experience in the Grand Plaza boasts a full menu of festive activities.

Simply strolling through the holiday village – with its countless twinkling lights, shimmering Christmas trees, and mirrored ornaments – will likely make you feel like a kid on Christmas morning.

No matter what time of the day or evening you visit the Grand Plaza, you’ll enjoy the same holiday lights experience. Each of the windows will be covered in blackout curtains adorned with images from the 12 Days of Christmas.

That magical feeling is sure to follow you throughout your experience and as you watch the illuminated fountain as it dances to the season’s most popular songs.

Known as Forest Fountain, it is a whopping 4,500 square feet.

As you meander through the village, you’ll stumble upon several selfie stations. Snap photos with Santa’s Sleigh Hanger, alongside singing reindeer and penguins, and in Lollipop Land.

After the kiddos whisper their Christmas wishes and pose for a photo with Santa, they’ll likely want to go for a ride on the miniature train. Watch the model trains as they chug around the track, too.

Holiday Reflections will also feature a virtual reality ride.

The holiday pop-up bar will feature holiday-themed drinks. Tickets are expected to sell out quickly.
