Make Your Summer Epic With A Visit To This Hidden Missouri Water Park

Monroe City is about 25 miles west of Hannibal, Missouri. There you will find the Mark Twain Landing campgrounds and while they have nice cabins and great campsites, the real attraction is its water park - Splash Landing. This water park in Missouri is fun for the whole family!

In the mood for plenty of thrills and chills? Slip down one of the water slides.

Then, climb to the top of the spiral stairs to reach the ultimate thrill ride, the Turtle Bowl.

Swirl around the Turtle Bowl and drop into the splash pool, where the rush of water will cool you off.

Of course, if you just want to relax for a bit, grab an inner tube for a leisurely float down the lazy river. Or, jump in the waves, as they grow larger and larger, in the wave pool.

Splash Landing also has plenty for the little ones, too. Watch as they splash and play in the Lilly Pad kiddie pool.

Relax on the pool chair. (And, if you arrive to the water park early, you might snag a chair with an umbrella to shade you from the sun.)

If you're planning to spend the whole day at the park, be sure to get lunch at the Snack Bar or a treat at the Sweets Shop.
