Go For A Socially Distant Ride Through Missouri’s Olde Towne Belton With Belton Grandview & Kansas City Railroad

Can you think of a sweeter sound than a train whistle in the distance, as the train chugs along the tracks, getting closer and closer to the station? For many of us, going on a train ride stirs nostalgia and maybe even makes us feel like a kid again. Even though we're in the throes of a pandemic, we can still climb aboard the Belton, Grandview, and Kansas City Railroad for a fun and socially distant train ride in Missouri.

Climb aboard one of the classic trains with the Belton, Grandview, & Kansas City Railroad for a scenic journey that will take you to Olde Towne Belton and beyond.

However, before you head over to the railroad station in Belton, you'll first need to be aware of quite a few changes, designed to make the train excursion safer for all guests.

Scheduled once a week and only a few months in advance, because of the uncertainty of the current environment.

All volunteers, who run the excursions, will wear gloves and masks. You, too, are asked to wear a mask, to ensure the safety of all on board. (Passengers will be limited to ensure social distancing.)

You're in for a ton of fun once you climb aboard the train. Seating is available in the open air car, perfect for a lovely Missouri day, or in the passenger coach.

Sit back, relax, and watch the scenery roll by on your 45-minute journey that will give you a glimpse of Olde Towne Belton.

Tickets for the 45-minute excursion cost $12 per passenger who is three years or older. Children two and younger are free.
