Bundle up for a Christmastime stroll through Arrow Rock State Historic Site, where you’ll stroll back through the pages of time during its annual Old-Fashioned Christmas in the Village.

Set for Dec. 9, 2023, the beloved Christmastime tradition kicks off at 5 p.m., so you’ll definitely want to dress for the weather and bring a flashlight. The paths throughout the village will be aglow, too.

Decorated to the nines for an old-fashioned Christmas, the village’s buildings will feature interpreters and offer a fascinating glimpse of a time long gone.

Stroll through the decorated village that’s home to a courthouse. Don’t be surprised if you catch a judge and lawyer in action while the taproom in the nearby tavern will likely be filled with other visitors to the historic site.

If it’s a typical cold (almost)-winter night in Missouri, spend a bit of time warming up by the fire at the George Caleb Bingham Home.

More details will be released closer to the evening of the event. However, organizers are hoping to present carolers to sing beloved Christmas classics. There may be carriage rides, too.
