Kimmswick sits right along the Mississippi River and is located just 25 miles south of St. Louis. Its population is about 157 people.
They're home to the "World Famous Levee High Apple Pie."

The great grandson of a famous brewery founder lived here.
Eberhard Anheuser, was the founder of E.Anheuser Brewing Company, and his great grandson, Fred, owned this beautiful estate in Kimmswick. Today, visitors can tour Anheuser Museum & Estates. It's just a short 25 mile drive away from St. Louis, so you'd even have time to tour the Anheuser Busch Brewery.

But what makes this village truly unique is their festivals.
Each year, they host two of the best festivals in Missouri; the Strawberry Festival in the summer and Apple Butter Festival in the fall. Both of them draw thousands of visitors each year. Not bad, for a town just under 200 people.
