You May Not Like These Predictions About Kansas City’s Roller Coaster Winter
The Farmers' Almanac predicts a rather average winter for Missouri with cold temperatures and average snowfall.
Farmer's Almanac has released its 2017-2018 winter predictions. We know you've been on pins and needles waiting, right? We recommend you hold on tight for some wacky weather conditions starting in December.
On one hand, we're not exactly sure what to expect...
Calling the weather patterns has always been a bit tricky in Kansas City.
On the other hand, you might want to hold on tight...
Is it snowing? Is it icing? Is it suddenly 60 degrees? We might have a roller coaster winter in store!
Meh, actually we may just be "normal" this year...
They are calling for temperatures in the "normal" range.
Then again, things could take a turn...
Temps may be normal but they are calling for above-average precipitation.
Prepare for wild temperature and precipitation swings...
In other words, you may have to mix your spring and winter wardrobe this year.
But the good news is...
Winter always ends eventually.
Gee, I'm sorry we can't be more clear. But honestly, has a Kansas City winter ever gone smoothly? Farmer's Almanac makes their predictions based on 200+ years of weather patterns. So let's just hope we have just enough of the white stuff without any serious ice storms and blizzards.
What are your hopes for this winter? Would you prefer a LOT of snow, or just a little snow? We'd love to hear from you in our comments!
