There are some thrift shops in Mississippi where great finds are far and few between…and then there’s The Lucky Rabbit. The one-of-a-kind "junk joint" features thousands of square feet of merchandise and dozens of vendors. A bargain hunter’s dream come true, it's a can't-miss shopping destination. However, The Lucky Rabbit in Mississippi is open only a few days a month, so you've got to plan your visit accordingly.
The Lucky Rabbit is located in the former Hawkins Hardware building in downtown Hattiesburg.
Open the first Thursday through Sunday of each month, the epic shop encompasses 20,000 square feet – every inch of which is brimming with great merchandise.
Described as a "modern day five and dimery" the store features a variety of antiques, vintage and handmade items, decor, furniture, clothing, and more.
When you first step inside, the two-floors of merchandise may seem a bit overwhelming, but don’t worry...
Each vendor’s booth is clearly marked, making it easy to navigate the store.
Because of the variety of vendors, prices vary from booth to booth, so you’re sure to find something in your price range.
As you make your way around, you’ll find everything from unique creations to items that are sure to be a bit nostalgic.
The vast furniture selection is by far one of the Lucky Rabbit's biggest draws. One of the best bargain shops in Mississippi, you'll find amazing deals on new, antique, and refinished pieces.
There’s also plenty of clothing, shoes, and accessories to peruse through.
If you need a quick break while shopping, stop in The Lucky Rabbit Café, where you can purchase snacks and beverages.
