Laurel’s Beloved Prancer Path Will Be Returning To Mississippi

The only thing more magical than a beautifully decorated Christmas tree is dozens of beautifully decorated Christmas trees – and that’s exactly what you’ll find at Prancer Path, the state’s first Christmas tree trail! The festive pathway made its debut in 2021 and is back for another year of holiday cheer.

Christmastime is a magical time in Laurel, a small town in Jones County.

The charming town hosts a slew of fun holiday festivities – the newest of which is Prancer Path.

A great addition to Laurel’s seasonal itinerary, Prancer Path is a Christmas tree trail. Yep, that’s right; a trail lined with decorated Christmas trees!

Though only in its second year, Prancer Path is quickly becoming a beloved community event.

And that’s partly because the community plays a big part in its production – each and every tree lining Prancer Path is decorated by local organizations and businesses.

In addition to decked out trees, Prancer Path will feature live music on select nights, beginning at 7 p.m.

Prancer Path, which is located in Laurel’s Downtown Backlot, is going on now through January 2023.

Oh, and the best part of all is that Prancer Path is FREE to visit!
