The Canton Flea Market in Canton is always held on the second Thursday of May and October.

First held in 1965, it’s one of the South’s original arts and crafts shows. It began with local artists displaying their work on the iron fence that surrounds the courthouse in Canton.

Still held on the grounds of the historic courthouse, this Mississippi flea market is considered one of the "top 20 events in the Southeast."

It now attracts more than 1,000 vendors and over 100,000 shoppers from across the country, making it one of the largest outdoor craft markets in the South.

During the one-day sale, craftsmen and artisans set up tents and showcase their one-of-a-kind creations.

In addition to things like pottery, jewelry, and unique arts and crafts, the array of merchandise at the Canton Flea Market includes local favorites such as cheese straws and other tasty treats.

For convenience, each of the booths are numbered, which makes it a lot easier to navigate your way through the flea market.
