1. Mackinac Island
Before the summer tourists arrive, visit Mackinac Island in spring for all the beauty with fewer crowds. Go on a carriage ride or rent a bike and pedal around the island. Remember to visit the two beautiful butterfly houses, the library, and famous Arch Rock. Before taking the ferry back to the mainland, grab yourself some delicious fudge to eat on the ride home.
2. Bunny Train - Coopersville
Whether you’re a kid or a kid at heart, the Bunny Train is fun for the whole family. This Easter, climb aboard the Coopersville & Marne Railway vintage train, which travels between Coopersville and Marne with the Easter bunny herself on board! The 90-minute ride will give you beautiful spring views and you can experience riding on an old-fashioned locomotive.
3. Tulip Lanes - Holland
One of the best ways to experience Holland’s world-famous Tulip Time festival is by driving through the Tulip Lanes. Since Tulip Time takes place in May, there is a good chance rain might spoil your plans for walking through the tulips or watching a parade. Instead, pile into the car and grab yourself some ice cream at Captain Sundae before driving through the beautiful tulip lanes in historic Holland.

You can cross mushroom hunting off your bucket list when you visit the Mesick Mushroom Festival. Mesick is the mushroom capital of the United States and boasts the rare and highly desirable morel mushroom. This is an old-fashioned festival with activities for kids, a parade, and delicious food.
