Seacoast Adventure in Windham, Maine, offers exciting snow tubing activities during winter, making it a top spot for family fun.

Winter in Maine means lots of fun activities that you just won't get any other time of year. And while we all like to complain a bit about snowstorms, we've got to admit that the fun that comes along with a fresh storm brings smiles to our faces. This winter we're especially excited about more tubing. If you love snow tubing but aren't a big fan of skiing, this is the spot in Maine for you. Read on and you'll definitely agree that Seacoast Adventure really is one of the best spots for snow tubing in Maine!

Seacoast Adventure in Windham offers some of the best summer fun in the state, but when winter hits things might just be even more exciting.

That's when the Snow Park opens and if you love enjoying the great outdoors when the air is chilly, you'll want to check it out.

Each year the park opens anywhere from four to 10 lanes for what they call, Snow Tubin'. And visiting means fun for all ages.

Visitors have access to a rented tube, and tickets allow for access to the lanes for a two-hour block of time.

Each day the lanes are open, you'll be able to choose between five different time blocks. That makes for lots of options.

There are even special nights reserved for events, all of which can be viewed online.

While the lanes are the same, there's just something extra fun about zipping down the mountain under the bright lights.

One of the things we love best about snow tubin' at Seacoast Adventure is the moving walkway that takes visitors to the top of the mountain.

Bomb down the hill, and then make your way back up easily and effortlessly.

This is a great way to spend an afternoon with the family, and we're excited for them to open for the season.

Seacoast Adventure's snow park is open on weekends, holidays, and school vacation weeks, but you're going to want to consult the website (linked below) before you go. Each day has specific sessions which you can purchase tickets for. You can learn more about it by looking at its operating schedule here. The opening is scheduled for whenever the conditions are right, so be sure to check there and on their Facebook page to keep up-to-date. Riders must be 3'4" tall to participate and at least 4' tall to ride alone. If you have questions, you can reach them at (207) 892-5952.
