New Orleans is hands down one of the most beautiful and enchanting places in the entire country. I feel so lucky that I can call it my home. When I need to unwind and relax, these are some of the beautiful places that I consider the New Orleans wonders of the world.

1) The Tree of Life

This gorgeous tree is majestic and has been the site of many beautiful wedding ceremonies. Just sitting at the foot of this tree will fill you with wonder.

2) Jean Lafitte National Park Palmetto Trail

This gorgeous National Park offers up beautiful, swampy trails that are full of amazing wildlife and flora examples.

3) The Mississippi River at Crescent Park

This new park gives residents a unique view of the Mississippi River and downtown, providing solace for the weary soul.

4) Lake Pontchartrain

This lake makes for incredible sunsets as well as a stretch of open water that will make even the most stressed out person feel calm.

5) Longue Vue House and Gardens

These historic gardens are perfectly tended to and make you feel like you are stepping into an enchanted area.
