This Whimsical Playground In New Orleans Will Positively Enchant You

Imagine a place where the stories and nursery rhymes you were told as a child come to life. At Storyland, kids can play on larger than life sculptures featuring their favorite classic fairy tale characters. Even adults will be mesmerized by this whimsical playground.

You’ll find Storyland nestled within City Park, near the Botanical Gardens.

From Cinderella to Peter Pan, kids can play with their favorite characters and scenes from popular children’s stories and nursery rhymes.

Years ago, you used to be given a key and you could use the key at different boxes around the playground and they would tell you about the fairytale. Does anyone remember that?

Storyland is open 7 days a week from 10am-5pm.

Admission is $4 per person and kids under 36" get in for free.
