New Orleans’ City Park is full of wonderful attractions that would be ideal for an afternoon of fun in the fun with your favorite crew. One of the park’s most popular attractions has been around for over 50 years, enchanting kids of all ages as they enter a world where their imaginations can run wild as they walk through their favorite storybook characters. They recently revitalized this timeless attraction, so if you haven’t visited Storyland in a few years, it’s time for a visit. Let’s check it out.
For a whimsical afternoon the whole family will love, visit Storyland in City Park.
This enchanted playground is full of all your favorite storybook characters.
No matter how old you are, you’re bound to feel like a kid again as you stroll through the park.
At Storyland, kids can become part of the story!
Climb aboard Captain Hook’s pirate ship, take a ride in Cinderella’s pumpkin, or climb inside the mouth of Pinocchio’s whale.
This outdoor attraction features 18 larger than life sculptures that kids can climb on and learn about the featured fairy tale.
In 2019, City Park revitalized Storyland, adding four new exhibits including Jack and the Beanstalk, Humpty Dumpty, and The Tortoise and the Hare.
They also enhanced a few of your favorites like the Three Little Pigs, Alice in Wonderland, The Little Mermaid, and many others.
Storyland is open Wednesday - Sunday from 10 a.m. till 4:30 p.m. Admission is $5 per person and kids under 36" tall are free!
