Located In The Middle Of Nowhere, Stelly’s Is Part Museum, Part Grocery, Part Restaurant and All Louisiana

Stelly’s in Lebeau, Louisiana, is a unique combination of a museum, restaurant, supermarket, and gas station that has been locally owned since 1927.

Lebeau is a tiny little town in St. Landry Parish that you may have never heard about, but it’s home to one of Louisiana’s most fascinating hidden gems. While Lebeau is most known for their annual Zydeco Festival, Stelly’s is a close runner up. This interesting little attraction covers all your bases: part museum, part restaurant, and part supermarket. Oh, and it’s a gas station too. What more could you ask for?

If you find yourself on Highway 71, you better pull off so you can visit Stelly’s.

This timeless treasure has been locally owned and operated since 1927.

As a popular pitstop for road warriors, it's one of those places where locals come back to again and again, and you will too.

More than just a truck stop, Stelly’s is a bit of a museum, housing a plethora of historical keepsakes that history lovers will be fascinated by.

You never know what you'll come across in this little Louisiana time capsule.

Taxidermied animals and newspaper clippings pepper the walls, making the place feel like a rustic hunting cabin of sorts.

But it's more than just a museum - Stelly's is also a grocery store, so you can stock up on all your usual groceries. You don't want to be making groceries on an empty stomach, though...

...luckily, Stelly's also serves some of the most mouthwatering home-style dishes around.

Come hungry, because the portions are as generous as they are at Grandma's house.

Homestyle burgers, fried seafood, and cajun specialties are just a few of the tasty treats you'll want to feast on.

They also offer daily specials.

It's a place you'll certainly find yourself coming back to again and again.

They just don't make them like this anymore!
