Welcome to Prehistoric Park. Tucked away in the heart of Cajun Country, this hidden gem is about a two-hour drive from New Orleans, and worth a road trip from any corner of the state.
Conveniently located just off I-10, Prehistoric Park is a family-friendly attraction kids and adults of all ages will enjoy.
From the moment you step inside the park, you’ll be surrounded by life-sized replicas of some of the most feared predators to ever walk the planet.
Every turn of the 12-acre park features new dinosaur exhibits.
The paved walkways really immerse you in a sea of emerald green that'll make you think you've been transported back to the Jurassic Era.
Watch your kid’s faces light up as they get to see these incredible replicas face-to-face.
You never know what's going to be around the bend.
Prehistoric Park has 23 dinosaur exhibits peppered throughout the park, including several animated dinosaur exhibits.
Don’t forget to pop into the gift shop for even more dinosaur-themed fun.
There’s also a playground and a sandbox for the next generation of paleontologists to discover buried fossils.
Prehistoric Park is open seven days a week.
Sunday-Thursday: 9 a.m. till 5 p.m. and 9 a.m. till 7 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
