1) Go to one of the many free festivals in New Orleans

For anyone in New Orleans, one of the best things to do when the weather turns out great is head out to the amazing festivals in New Orleans.

2) Listen to the Singing Oak

Listen to these amazing bells as you go into a state of relaxation near the Big Lake of City Park. It's totally beautiful and will make your whole day, I promise!

3) Catch the street performers on Jackson Square

Head on over to the heart of New Orleans to enjoy all that the artists here have to offer. You'll likely find some really groovy jazz or other special treasure. An of course, some awesome photo opportunities.

4) Listen to music on Frenchmen Street

Once you've gotten your fill of Jackson Square performers, next stop is Frenchmen St. If there are no performers at the time, you can bet that there's some really special people watching that you need to get done!

5) Jazz in the Park

An amazing free concert series in Armstrong park? Yep, in New Orleans you can mark your calendars to tune into all of the awesome bands that play here. And don't forget all of the great vendors as well!

6) Watch a parade (or join one!)

New Orleans has parades throughout the year--from second lines to funeral marches there's usually people in the streets somewhere. You'll enjoy watching the action go by...and you might even feel like you want to join in yourself!

7) Explore the Sculpture Garden

A completely free place to go on a beautiful walk and soak up some artistic treasures. What's really great about this sculpture garden is that they keep adding new additions year after year so there's always something new to see!

One of the most popular weekly concert series, Wednesdays at the Square brings some amazing musicians to Lafayette Square just in time for some happy hour grooves. We think you'll want to make it a weekly tradition.
