Or man's best friend. This is my dog's favorite place to come.
They recently constructed this new walkway from Harrison Ave to make the walk even more fun.
There are some gorgeous bayous here and it is a very popular place for birds to rest during migration.
Couturie Forest is also home to the highest point of elevation in New Orleans--Laborde Mountain.
It's found in the middle of the forest and is a lot of fun to go up and down!
All of the trails are regularly mulched by volunteers, keeping this area accessible year-round.
