This Haunted Hayride In Illinois Takes You Through A Frightening Forest

Dellwood Park in Lockport, Illinois, offers a haunted hayride experience called the Hayride of Horror every October.

For a frightening experience that gets you off your feet, check out this haunted hayride in Lockport, Illinois. Trapped in a creaky, old wooden wagon, guests on this tour are guaranteed a night of frights through the eerie trees of a little-known park.

Dellwood Park is a 150-acre oasis of playgrounds, picnic shelters, and nature. During October, though, it transforms into a Halloween world like you've never before seen.

The Hayride of Horror is an exciting and extraordinary event that no horror lover will want to miss. Prior to each haunted hayride, guests will be treated to a bonfire and scary movies on a 20-foot screen while waiting their turn. Food and drinks will be available as well.

Once you set out on your journey, there is no turning back. Participants will ride through the park and encounter mysterious beings and ghoulish characters hidden by fog and strobe lights.

Thrill-seekers will find what they are looking for at this creepy event. This haunted hayride is designed to play on your deepest fears and is not recommended for small children.

Tickets are $15, and the tour is available every Friday and Saturday in October between 7 and 10 p.m. The last ride this year will be October 27.
