Full Of Whimsy And Wonder, The Illinois World Of Faeries Festival Is One Magical Event You Can’t Miss

Many of us are starting to plan out all the places to go and events to attend this summer around the Land of Lincoln. And we have one more to add to your list. The 18th Annual World of Faeries Festival is set for this August in South Elgin and it's sure to be a fun event for the whole family. This magical event in Illinois is one you won't want to miss.

The 18th Annual World of Faeries Festival will be held at Vasa Park in South Elgin on Saturday, August 6 from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m., and Sunday, August 7, 2022 from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Mark your calendars! It will be held rain or shine.

Enter a colorful world filled with faeries and other magical creatures. This year's theme is "Unicorn Dreams."

There's something so mystifying about faeries. Children and adults alike will find something fascinating to enjoy at this festival.

Festival attendees are encouraged to dress up. Go ahead and wear a fantasy, fairy, or Rennaissance Faire costume.

Throughout the day, there will be music and entertainment as well as family-friendly activities and demonstrations.

Guests can shop at the vendor booths for faery figurines and houses, jewelry, artwork, clothing, garden decor and accessories, and so much more.

You can purchase discounted tickets on the website ahead of time. If you choose to purchase tickets upon arrival, they are cash only at the cost of $15 each. Tickets for Seniors are $8 while children ages 12 and under are admitted for free.
