It doesn’t matter if it is apples, peaches, or berries of every kind, there is something special about fresh produce and it’s even more magical if you pick the produce yourself. Fortunately, here in Idaho, there are several pick-your-own fruit farms all around the state. But, located in Emmett, is one of the best — Williams Fruit Ranch. Here, you can pick everything from cherries to apples and it’s a day outdoors that your entire family will love.

Williams Fruit Ranch is certainly not new to Emmett. This is a four-generation farm that was founded in 1890. It is one of the oldest continually operating orchards in the Emmett Valley.

Williams Fruit Ranch is open seven days a week and is where you can find some of the freshest, most delicious fruit in Emmett.

Early in the summer months, you can pick juicy cherries.

Later in the summer, you can visit to pick ripe nectarines, peaches, and plums. Come ready to fill bags or buckets to take home — you'll want it all!

In mid-September, visit Williams Fruit Ranch to pick Empress plums as well as a variety of apples including Gala, Jonathan, Red Delicious, Golden Delicious, Honeycrisp, and several others. Apples are typically available starting in September and last through October.

Plus, in addition to all of the fresh fruit sold at his Emmett farm, you can also purchase sweet black cherry juice and apple cider. Both options feature no added sugar or water.

There is nothing like time outdoors, in the sunshine, and with bags or buckets full of fresh produce. It truly is the perfect day when you visit Williams Fruit Ranch in Emmett.
