The Largest Pumpkin Patch in Hawaii Is a Must-Visit Day Trip This Fall
Visit a pumpkin patch in Hawaii at Aloun Farms! Enjoy pumpkins, rides, hayrides, fresh produce, and family-friendly fall fun over three weekends.
I don’t know about you, but I think pumpkin patches are one of the best parts of fall, and Aloun Farms’ 23rd Annual Pumpkin Fall Festival really captures that feeling. This isn’t just any pumpkin patch—it’s a full-on fall celebration with family activities, fresh produce, and a little island charm. Happening over three weekends, the festival serves up a memorable autumn experience for everyone to enjoy.
Aloun Farms invites you to join this annual fall tradition on October 18-19, 25-26, and November 1-2. Held at the largest pumpkin patch in Hawaii, it’s impossible to miss. From 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., the festival grounds are buzzing with family-friendly fun all day long.
Local entertainment keeps the energy high while food vendors dish out delicious island treats. For the little ones, themed activities and a petting zoo are sure to bring big smiles. Free tractor hayrides give you a chance to see hundreds of acres of Aloun Farms’ farmland, making it a fun ride for all ages.
You can also pick your own corn, string beans, and of course, pumpkins. Speaking of pumpkins, from tiny ones to gigantic gourds, Aloun Farms is one of the only places in Hawaii where you can harvest your pumpkin straight from the vine. And if you’re looking to stock up on fresh farm produce, the farmers’ market has a wide selection, including the farm’s signature ‘Ewa Sweet Corn and a variety of other vegetables.
Admission is just $5 per person, and that includes parking. Children under two get in free. More fun comes from carnival rides provided by E.K. Fernandez Shows, plus pony rides—these attractions are sold separately from general admission, so be sure to check pricing and payment options before you go.
For a more in-depth experience, Aloun Farms also offers Pumpkin Patch Educational Tours. These are designed for schools and groups on weekdays and cost $15 per person. Each tour includes an educational talk, a reusable character bag, a free pumpkin, a hayride, an educational booklet called Kimo’s Adventure, and plenty of photo opportunities. Lasting about 1.5 hours, the tours give students and groups a hands-on way to learn how pumpkins grow while celebrating the harvest season.
Don’t miss this unique Hawaiian twist on classic fall festivities. Unlike the mainland, where people are bundling up in sweaters and sipping pumpkin spice lattes, at Aloun Farms you can experience the beauty of autumn while still enjoying the tropical climate.
If you’re in Hawaii this fall, visiting Aloun Farms’ 23rd Annual Pumpkin Fall Festival is a must. Whether you’re there for the pumpkins, the activities, or just a fun family day outdoors, it’s a fall celebration unlike any other. The farm is located at 91-1440 Farrington Hwy, Kapolei, HI 96707, and you can find more information on the official website of Aloun Farms.
