There’s A Water Park Perfect For Summer Opening Up In Georgia

Six Flags White Water in Marietta, Georgia, offers a variety of attractions for all ages, making it a perfect summer escape.

Summer in the Peach State can get pretty sweltering. If you're looking for the perfect escape from the hot and humid days, it doesn't get much better than a water park in Georgia. Six Flags White Water in Marietta will be opening up for the season soon, and they've got plenty of outdoor attractions for all. Whether you're an adrenaline junkie seeking thrills, looking for kid-friendly fun, or just want to chill on the lazy river, there's something for everyone here!

Six Flags White Water is one of the most popular water parks in the country. With 69 acres of pools, slides, and rides, there is a lot to do here.

The park is divided up into four different zones, each consisting of various rides and attractions.

The Atlanta Ocean Wave Pool is a 700,000-gallon pool that allows you to choose your thrill level.

The shallow end has gentle ripples that aren't much different than a typical pool, making it a great option if you want to relax or have young kids. The deeper end has waves that are a blast to float over on a tube or with a life jacket if you're looking for something a little bumpier!

Of course, there's plenty of suitable attractions for children of all ages, including shorter slides and shallow pools for young kids.

We don't know about you, but one of our favorite attractions at any water park in Georgia is the lazy river. Six Flags White Water's is the Little Hooch, named after the nearby Chattahoochee River.

The Little Hooch runs for about 0.25 miles and is the perfect spot to kick back and relax while enjoying the sunshine.

No matter your age, there's something so special about a day at a water park! It's a great way to escape the humidity and heat that plagues us in the Peach State.

This water park in Georgia will be opening for the 2022 season the weekend of May 7, so get ready!
