Well, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay officially announced that Iron Gwazi will open in March 2022, perfect for anyone looking for some pre-summer excitement.

Busch Gardens officially announced an opening date for the tallest, fastest, and steepest coaster - Iron Gwazi in Tampa Bay. Book your tickets for March 2022 to be one of the first to ride.

It was just around two years ago that Busch Gardens started teasing across social media the build for Iron Gwazi. However, there were many setbacks and delays over the years.

Taking riders to new heights, this coast will plunge from a 206-foot-tall peak into a 91-degree drop and can reach up to 76 miles per hour.

With three inversions, this hybrid steel and wood coaster features all-new thrilling elements, plus restored features of the old-school Gwazi coaster.

Picture a next-level thrill ride for coaster fanatics. According to USA Today, this is the most anticipated roller coaster attraction of the year.

If you want to be one of the first guests to ride Iron Gwazi in Tampa Bay in March, make sure to become a Pass Member beforehand. Pass Members will be some of the first to experience this record-breaking ride.
