Many of these items are rooted in Delaware's industrial past, and many more come from the old farms that built the state. Yet, even more are created by local artists who take pride in turning their medium into an incredible, sought-after piece of art. If you're looking for a unique shopping experience in The First State, you really need to see the places where all of the above goods come together - at a Delaware flea market. Below is a list of some of the best flea markets in Delaware that you really can't miss if you're on the hunt for a good find.

1. Spence's Bazaar, Dover

Spence's is a wonderland of goods and vendors that have been here for years. Half of the fun of treasure hunting at this Delaware flea market is getting to know the characters that have kept the place running throughout the decades. 2. New Castle Farmers Market

The New Castle Farmers market is a HUGE Delaware flea market with tons of vendors. There's an indoor market with over 100,000 square feet of space, and the parking lot fills up with vendors on outdoor market days. While its name may allude to fresh foods available to either sell or purchase at the market, keep in mind this is now a market only for used merchandise. 3. Laurel Junction

People flock to Laurel Junction in Laurel for amazing shopping, great treasure hunting, and some of the best BBQ in the state. Doesn't it make you hungry just thinking about a trip down south?! 4. First State Flea, Wilmington

5. Mitchell's Flea Market, Bear
