In fact, Cleveland is one of the loveliest cities in the nation, and its culture has made it into one of the most unique places in the world. Now, it has been listed as a must-see destination, reinforcing what we Clevelanders have been saying all along.
Each year, National Geographic Travel unveils its Best of The World list.
Within each category of Cities, Culture, and Nature, seven must-see destinations around the world are listed.
For the 2018 list, Cleveland was listed under the Culture category, and it is plain to see why.
Our beloved city was listed among the likes of Vienna, Austria; Friesland, Netherlands; Harar, Ethiopia; Oaxaca, Mexico; Tétouan, Morocco; and Labrador, Canada.
Thanks to a bustling arts scene, a legacy of historic preservation, an incredible dining scene, and the friendliest locals, our hometown has become a pretty special place.
National Geographic hails now as a splendid time to visit the city, as it is evolving from an industrial city of yore to the bustling heart of American culture.
In fact, Cleveland was only one of three cities in the nation to make the list.
Oahu, Hawaii made the list in the Nature category and San Antonio, Texas proudly fell under the Cities category.
It seems appropriate that the famed Home of Rock 'N Roll was finally recognized for its culture.

Thanks to recent expansions and a growing artistic energy, Cleveland has become a must-see destination. We're lucky, though, that we get to experience its majesty each and every day.
