A Visit To This Classic Cincinnati Barbershop Will Take You Back In Time

One of the absolute best things about our city is the passion of the people who grew up here. You hear many stories of family traditions and historic buildings that are filled with Cincinnati history. Thankfully, there are many locals who love our city so much that they work hard to preserve its past and keep the soul of the city alive for generations to come. Downtown, there's a small classic barbershop that has been around since the 1950s and recently received a new life. The grandsons of the former owner have opened and restored Ferrari Barber & Coffee Co. and this classic barbershop will take you back in time in the best ways possible.

Located in the heart of downtown on Garfield Place, Tony and Austin Ferrari recently reopened this classic barbershop with a modern twist.

In 1955, the barbershop was passed on to Fausto and Emilio Ferrari, who spent 50 years running this legendary gathering spot. Their grandsons/great-nephews decided that they did not want this tradition to disappear, so the shop is now open for the next generations to enjoy.

The interior of the shop is perfectly vintage and idyllic in every little detail.

From the pedestal sinks to the mint green chairs and all of the nostalgia, you could spend hours simply looking around this inviting space. They definitely achieved a modern, appealing ambiance while still maintaining all of the vintage charm.

The space runs as a classic barbershop, where the chairs are rented out to expert barbers who will give you that classic experience.

Even if you're not in need of a haircut, you still have a reason to stop by for a visit.

The space is also a coffee shop serving locally roasted creations that are some of the best (and most beautiful) drinks in town.

The addition of the coffee company to the barbershop is a match made in heaven and really opens its doors for everyone to stop in for a cup of coffee and a chat.

Ferrari Barber & Coffee Co. says they are "made for the public and fine people of the city." It's this welcoming attitude that defines Cincinnati.
