Don't you love finding new things in unexpected places? The joy of discovery is just as exciting as the attraction itself. The Preacher's Son is a fabulous restaurant based on food alone, but paired with the unbelievable setting, it's downright divine. Let's take a peek at what's become of this restored Gothic church.

The church has gone through extensive renovations and reopened as The Preacher's Son earlier this year.

It's not often you see the executive chef picking herbs for the day's meals.

The whole menu is completely filled with locally sourced selections.

The menu is seasonal to ensure the freshest of ingredients, like for this Tuna Poke Salad.

Gaze longingly at this beautiful bar.

Or hangout at the more intimate lounge residing beneath the restaurant. The Undercroft Bar is open Monday through Saturday from 5 PM to 2 AM.

It may be hard to take your eyes off the food but the restaurant's aesthetic will keep you mesmerized.

There's a grid of 288, 5" gold bells in the tower and windows filled with art glass. The glass was designed by George Dombek, a nationally recognized master of watercolor.

This is one restaurant that should definitely make your bucket list.
