They may be closed but Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art has created a different way to enjoy a trip to the museum. You can now explore the beloved gem through virtual reality! We the people may be stuck at home but that doesn't mean we can't enjoy a field trip or two.
Businesses of all sorts around Arkansas have creatively come up with ways to safely function in the midst of the quarantine. Although we can't visit Crystal Bridges in person at the moment, the museum has provided a new way to explore.
The VR tours will take you on different walking tours as well as "inside" the paintings.
These videos give you a personal tour of the museum's endless gems.
Even if you aren't a fan of the VR you can still walk around the larger exhibits without leaving your couch.
The Frank Lloyd Wright House and R. Buckminster Fuller’s Fly’s Eye Dome can also be explored virtually. For links to all of Crystal Bridges' virtual tours, visit their website.
